Judy with / KOKO @ 4 months

KOKO is now 12 years young!

Gosh how the time flies!

Agility pages and fun pictures are linked from KOKO's page!

Judy and KOKO, have earned numerous titles in NADAC and AKC agility, as well as qualifying for therapy dog and passing temperament testing. KOKO easily earned her CGC, as she suredly is a good citizen and ambassador for the Akita breed.

Are we proud of her?

YOU BET we are!

The northern pines of Arizona are home for Judy, hubby and Akita kids.

The cool shade of tall pines, and chasing squirrels out of their yard,
is pastime for the King's Akitas and Corgis.
Hummingbirds, Woodpeckers, BlueJays and various other wild birds
enjoy nearby feeders, as greedy squirrels fight for handouts.

As a artist, Judy finds the peaceful surroundings perfect for the creative process,
with timeouts taken for walks to the creek or along winding deer paths
with Akita and Corgi companions.

Hoka-Hey's Arizona Talizman

All our dog enjoy a diet of all natural raw foods.
Holistic, natural modalities are the primary focus of their care.
A passion is Akita HEALTH (and Corgis).
It is my conviction that a natural approach to care provides
the best opportunity for health, longevity, vitality and joy for life.
he pages linked below outline the philosophy I've adopted
 and encourage others to investigate.

ZAKKARY with "BB" hot on his tail......

"BB" with ZAK hot on her tail.....

NIKO, our rescued boy, sent by TAZ to help us heal.

We adopted NIKO about 5 months after TAZ's sudden death.

He was discarded by his family at age 9 and is now cherished
by our family....and will be, forever.
Thank you ARWNY for making his adoption possible.
He is a gentle giant and dearly loved by us all, especially "BB".
