KOKO earned a place in history
winning HIGH
IN TRIAL - AGILITY at the first Akita Club of
America agility trial, 2001 in St. Louis.
KOKO
is now almost 13 years old, she still likes to visit at agility
practice and with her friends. Once in a while she
slow
pokes through a tunnel, and she still thinks she knows it all and can
tell those pups a thing or two about agility.
Although
retired for a few years now, she did participate in an agility demo at
the Akita Club of America National Specialty in Utah in 2008, where she
finished a small course and completed all 12 weave poles to a huge
round of applause. Akita fanciers have a huge soft spot for
seniors...and it was fun for all to see this gray faced girl still
showing off for applause. A ham is always a ham!
You may still find her ringside at the shows, cheering her friends on
as she snacks and sits in the shade.
KOKO was bred by Linda Walker, Sunapee Akitas. KOKO is a daughter of
Spenser and grand daughter of Nyla Haddy's NEKO.
WHAT AN ABSOLUTE BLAST SHE IS!

RS-N, JS-N CGC, TDI, TT and two legs toward a CD.
At the Akita Club of America
Nationl Specialty, in one day KOKO took High in Trial - Agility, earned

Not bad eh?
KOKO
earned a leg in Rally at the ACA Nat'ls in Kentucky...but she thinks
thats kind of boring...and prefers to lap cool water and watch other
from a comfy shady ringside spot.
She's recently taken on the
task of keeping two Pembroke Corgis in line, teaching them manners and
bosting how the BIG DOGS do things.
